Yellow Tang ( Zebrasoma flavescens )

This is Tango, as I call him. I personally feel a Yellow Tang is a must in the Reef Tank. As well as having a striking apperance, and peacefull nature, the Tang does much good work by grazing on any algae within the tank. Touch wood, I've never really suffered with hair algae. I put this down to many reasons, luck, regular maintenace and I feel the pressence of the Yellow Tang and various hermit crads and turbo snails. As I've mentioned, the Yellow Tang is very peacfull and mine never bothers any of the other tank occupants. However, my Tang can be a little shy at times, although not around feeding time. The Tang will eat anything you put in the tank Flake, Brime Shrimp and it absoultly loves lettuce. I feed letuce a couple of times a week and he can eat a leaf with 24 hours.
